Kaththi - Ok. Rating: 3/5. Expected usual commercial outline with a double role script.1st half was usual & expected screenplay. 2nd half was looking better.
Only few sequences are good:
Opening kolkata jail,
Blue print,
Blocking water & make city suffer to realize about village,
Farmers problems,
Coin fight sequences.
I am waiting dialogue in the interval reminds you Thuppakki was more better & great impact with the script. Songs were picturised well. Its good paalam song was deleted. Yaar petro magano song used in climax is better. RR is good. My fav is theme music. No proper characterization & background for Samantha. She looks good. Just used as love interest. Good to see Jeevanandham as a social activist & a simple person, he has been used only as a character. Kaththi alias Kathiresan who escapes from kolkatta jail has been portrayed as hero. Easily u can guess Kathiresan be in Jeevanandham place & solve the problem. Only the subtleness makes difference between between both characters. Love portions was not meaningful. Satish done a decent job but not at all a special characterization. Neil nitin mukesh just a corporate villan. No much impact. Not at all upto Thuppaakki standard.
