Gods of Egypt 3D - Above Average. Rating: 2.75/5. Simple usual concept. 1st half is ok & quite interesting. 2nd half average. Not engaging. Dragging much. Running time: 128 min. Making makes us watchable with 3D. Gerard Butler is the highlight with his negative shade of character & performance. Quite bore.

Revenant - Good. Rating: 3.5/5. Different script. Interesting & engaging screenplay. Leonardo Di Caprio is the major highlight. He has given his blood & soul to the movie with his amazing performance. He definitely deserve academy award this time. Making is another highlight with super cool locations. Too much of violence & pathetic blood shots. Very class. Too lengthy running time 158 min. Suitable only for strong heart ppl. Lots of blood & pity scenes.

Kanithan Movie Review

Kanithan - Ok+. Fake certificates frauds is shocking. Presented in a effective manner. 1st 30 min boring & usual. Love portion is not at all convincing. After story starts, its interesting & gripping. Good interval block. 2nd half little dragging & need to be trimmed. Casting & making is the highlight. Catherine character would have been much effective & brilliant. She done a good job & cute. Atharvaa has done a effective job but not special. Karunakaran & Sunder Ramu has done a good supporting roles. Some scenes are usual & predictable. It would have been more fresh & engaging. Songs reduce the speed of the movie. 2nd half a party song should be deleted. Wrong placements. Fresh treatment would have given more impact. Watchable. Conveyed a shocking message to the audience.

Aarathu Sinam - Above Average. Crime suspense thriller. Very slow. Technically good. Story is different & good. Remake of Malayalam movie Memories. Screenplay is not much interesting & engaging. All characterization modulation of dialogue delivery would have been better. Quite predictable. Arulnidhi's different performance, Songs & BGM, making is the only highlight. Aishwarya Rajesh has limited space only. Rest things in the execution fails.

Sethupathi - Ok+. Usual yet another cop story. Interesting screenplay. 1st half ok. Interval block was different & good. 2nd half ok+. Especially the scene in 2nd half where the villians surround the Sethupathi home was really nice & big applause for the twists. Vijay Sethupathi done a great job as a cop. Realistic making. Good songs & bgm. Suitable for all class.

Miruthan - Super. 1st big congrats & thanks to the director Shakthi for bringing the zombie concept to Tamil cinema in a believable manner. Great guts for Actor Ravi & producer to accept the new genre. Entertainer. Interesting racy engaging screenplay. A seat edge thriller. Perfect running time. Good casting & performances. Especially Ravi's last 30 min performance good. Lakshmi menon looking cute. Kaali Venkat done a great job of humor & senti mixed with the given space. Vidhya sister kid character brings tears out with her performance. All supporting artist & thousands of junior artists done a commendable job. Technically good with making of CG shots & make up. Imman's best in a different genre of bgm. Sequal ending. Good team effort..

Feel good emotional drama between a mother & son. Live making. No wonder it was nominated to oscars. Globally connected to all ages.

Climax looks practical & good impact. Paspathy is the major highlight of the movie & his character. Great performance. Vemal & Nandita looks cool & different. Good to see fresh faces.
